What is Spiritual Healing

The channelling of healing energy from its spiritual source to someone who needs it is called spiritual healing. The channel is usually a person, whom we call a healer, and the healing energy is usually transferred to the patient through the healer’s hands. The healing does not come from the healer, but through him/her. Classes will include written and hands on or off techniques. You will receive a certificate upon completion from the Bancroft Spiritual Centre.

The course walks you through the five prayer treatment with an introduction to what metaphysics teaches us and an overview of metaphysic beliefs. The Metaphysical Science Classes are presented in sessions of 8 weeks each, with one 2 hour lesson per week. Level one is intended to give the student a basic clear understanding of Metaphysical Science.

Bancroft Spiritual Centre was founded by Rev Rita Marie Browning. The Centre is made up of several individuals who play a vital role in making it a welcoming place for a multitude of spiritual paths as we respect each one through learning and understanding.

Bancroft Spiritual Centre is a non-judgmental place of love where all people can feel safe exploring their spirituality. We provide ministry and education for our members, friends and the community through our example and our services, based on the principles of Metaphysics and Spiritualism.

The Centre is a Spiritualist denomination, and has the ability to ordain it’s own Ministers.  We are also registered thought the Marriage Office of Ontario to provide marriage rites/ceremonies.
